How to get money in Farming Simulator 25 – No Cheats and No Mods!

Are you looking to improve your FS farm with plenty of new vehicles and equipment? The FS25 money cheat is the easiest way to get there. This allows you to get resources and finally get hold of the equipment you always wanted.

But there’s also a different way that uses none of them, and works on any device – just using plain old business planning and clean energy. In this part of the article, we’ll go through some of the best techniques that will help you massively improve the amount of money your farm can make.

A few things before we get started

If you have decided you want to make a lot more money during your gameplay, there are still a few things you should know before. First up, remember that this is not a fully idle gameplay solution. You will need to be present pretty often if you want to maximize your profits. Some buying, selling, and placing will be required from you. But once it’s all done, this farm will be a passive income-earning powerhouse!

You will also need to make sure your console doesn’t switch off during your gameplay. For Xbox, the instructions for that are as follows:

1. Click two times on your Xbox/Home button to open the menu
2. On the bottom, click on Settings
3. Choose All Settings
4. Choose Power and start
5. Select Power mode and start
6. There, change the setting to “Don’t Turn Off Automatically”

3. Get the biggest loan you can possibly get. That should put your current balance to 250,000.

As soon as you get that massive cash injection, start investing as much money as you have into solar panels. The benefits of solar panels are massive, letting you get 110/h without doing absolutely anything. It also requires zero maintenance, which is a major difference compared to just about anything in this game. This method used to get 380/h in FS15 and has been nerfed since: but it’s still very profitable.

Investing in solar panels

Here’s how you buy the solar collectors:

1. Choose the Shop button (View/Back on Xbox) to open the buying menu
2. If your items are sorted by categories, panels will be in the Placeables section.
3. Choose the solar collector, and place it somewhere where it won’t get in the way of the vehicles.
4. Take the second panel, and put it next to the first one, also minding the vehicle paths.
5. Congratulations on just investing a quarter of a million!

As soon as the solar panels are in, we can start the fun part of the process – making the money. Here’s what to do:

1. Click the menu button (Menu/Start on Xbox)
2. Find and choose the Game Settings tab (with bumper buttons on consoles)
3. Adjust your timescale to 120x.
4. Turn off plant withering. If playing on Easy, other settings can remain on default.
5. Save your game, using the X button on Xbox, and exit the menu.

Setting your timescale to 120x lets you move past the game a lot faster, making the passive income come in quicker. A minute in the real world now turns into two hours in the game. One solar collector will immediately get you 298 a minute, and a setup of two collectors will get you 596 in a minute! Quick math: this means you’ll get 35760 in just one hour.

Now, that is impressive, but nowhere close to the numbers needed for the most expensive equipment. For that, you will need a total of 8 solar panels. The idea behind this technique is for you to keep the game going for as long as it takes, until you have 8 solar panels on your farm. For this, it’s the most efficient to keep the game running throughout the night: but also, you’ll need to save it fairly often in order to not lose your progress if a crash happens.

Let’s take a look at how long it would take for a different number of solar panels to get you 125,000 money.

• 2 solar panels: 3.5 hours
• 3 solar panels: 2 hours, 20 minutes
• 4 solar panels: 1 hour, 45 minutes
• 5 solar panels: 1 hour, 25 minutes
• 6 solar panels: 1 hour, 10 minutes
• 7 solar panels: 1 hour
• 8 solar panels: 53 minutes

Go even bigger with windmills

Once your solar farm is all set up, it’s time to take the next and very logical renewable energy step – investing in windmills. The wind energy generators are seriously expensive at 1.2 millions, but they get you 1,500 money an hour. Even though windmills actually require maintenance, the windmill will help you make 2996 money a minute – that converts to 179,760 in an real-life hour.

Have that in addition to your solar panels, and you should be making a total of 322,800 money an hour, which is a massive load of money that should let you buy just about anything on the game.

What needs to be done in order for you to afford a massive 1,200,000 windmill? Well, you would need your farm of 8 solar panels to run nonstop for 8 hours and 24 minutes. This is why it’s a very good idea to just run your game overnight. This way, you’ll also get “In For The Long Haul” and “Peak Profits” achievements.

Here’s what you should do once your solar farms bag you a lovely 1.2 million:

1. Choose the “Shop” button (View/Back on Xbox)
2. If using category sorting, open the Placeables folder
3. Choose the windmill, and put it where it won’t bother you or your vehicles

Going big on windmills is an important step up from solar panels, because they will help you make a lot of money: even after you quit the 120x speed mode and actually start using your money to do some farming.

It’s purely your decision as to how many windmills are on your farm. To help you decide for how long you should only farm wind energy, we did some calculations. Here’s how long it makes for 8 solar panels plus multiple windmills to make 1.2 million money:

• 1 wind turbines + 8 solar panels: 3 hours, 44 minutes
• 2 wind turbines + 8 solar panels: 2 hours, 24 minutes
• 3 wind turbines + 8 solar panels: 1 hour, 45 minutes
• 4 wind turbines + 8 solar panels: 1 hour, 24 minutes
• 5 wind turbines + 8 solar panels: 1 hour, 10 minutes
• 6 wind turbines + 8 solar panels: 59 minutes
• 7 wind turbines + 8 solar panels: 52 minutes
• 8 wind turbines + 8 solar panels: 46 minutes

The proof is in the bullet list: the more windmills you have, the less you need to wait to get an extra million in your bank account. Talk about good problems, right?

As soon as you feel confident with your existing energy grid, go back to normal speed and get to farming. 120x is good for this trick, but it’s not an optimal Farming Simulator gameplay experience. As soon as you’re done with this, you will be able to buy just about anything you want, and will have a massive source of passive income in your farm, letting you experiment as much as you want.

Oh and, don’t forget about the loan you have to repay.

Other than that, congratulations – you are now very rich and fully financially independent!
